Scott forgot to do one thingScott Curran was one of WAVM's great tinkerers, and he spent a couple weeks building a radio mixing board for the station, so cart tapes could be made while the other radio board was being used. After a bit of dedicated and hard work, he unveiled the new mixing board to the station members, but Scott forgot to do one thing. He didn't ground the board. On the first day of the board's operational existence, former station member Steve Centorino accidently dropped a screwdriver on the system. The metal rod made a connection between two points and shorted the radio board. Return to The Early Days in Radio
