1977 Broadcast Booklet

The following booklet was stowed away by former WAVM member, Mark Minasian, two years before he graduated from Maynard High School in 1979. In addition to this booklet, Mark and other alumni were able to produce WAVM belt buckles, T-Shirts, and jackets made over the years for the staff and community.

This booklet, including the photo on the cover, was created and published by workers at Digital Equipment Corporation, who have long been friends of WAVM. Of course, the WAVM staff generated the content.

"Everyone at WAVM wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Digital Equipment Corporation for its faithful support of our efforts. In addition to the printing of this program booklet, Digital has always been ready and willing to lend every type of support to the realization of our dream for a high school radio station.

We are deeply indebted to Mr. David Knight, a Digital employee, who has devoted many hours to setting up and maintaining WAVM's complex broadcasting equipment. As our chief engineer, Mr. Knight has guided our progress every step of the way."
